Feb 15th was the official kick-off of the "Faces of Nursing, Houston" online documentary series and awareness campaign production! Our project chairs Terry Throckmorton and Valerie Stiner, also consider one of three associate producers on the project, provide the reality check we need that only nurses can provide. Our first objective was identifying episode topics and how each episode was formatted for viewer interest.
We did have a head start since we reviewed the episode topics with a group of TNA-member volunteers over two years ago and have already conducted close to 40 interviews, setting the stage and direction for a unique blend of textbook history and nurse experiences.
Below is a snapshot of Dr. Lorraine Frazier, Dean at the Columbia University School of Nursing. Dr. Frazier shared about her time with UTHealth, the value, history, and future of education. Her interview will be one of several interviews used in the Education Episode.
