Recently obtained Master’s Degree in Nursing Education from The University of Texas Medical Branch, and over seven years of nursing experience in direct patient care including outpatient advanced wound care and inpatient acute care telemetry. Delegate member of Texas Nurses Association district 9 and co-chair of the Membership Committee. American Nurses Association member, Allied member of Wound Ostomy Continence Nurses Association, and member of American Foot Care Nurses Association.
Chelsea Baker, RN, MSN is a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and is among the newest technologies in wound care treatment. The process increases the amount of oxygen in the patient´s blood, enabling oxygen to pass more easily through plasma and into the wounds – prompting more rapid healing.
